A little preparation makes a big difference in how you look and feel on shoot day. Here's a quick checklist to help you show up camera-ready.
- Choose your outfits carefully. Bring a few looks you feel confident in. Solid colors work best; avoid busy patterns and logos that pull focus from your face.
- Get plenty of rest. A full night's sleep beforehand keeps you from looking tired or puffy.
- Drink water. Hydration in the days leading up shows up as healthier-looking skin.
- Go easy on alcohol and salty foods. Both cause water retention and puffiness — worth avoiding the day before.
- Handle grooming early. Get any haircut about a week out, and tidy up facial hair as needed.
- Practice expressions. A few minutes in the mirror helps you find what works — though I'll direct you the whole way.
- Talk to me first. Share your goals and the vibe you're going for so we walk in with a plan.
Follow these and you'll be ready to shine. Questions about your shoot? Get in touch anytime.
